Pheasant hunting in Washington isn't what it used to be. Everyone knows that. There are wild birds to be had though if you're willing to work at it a little. I've been out 7 times and killed 13 roosters and should have had a couple more, but I do miss on occasion. I enjoy getting out with my dogs whether I harvest birds or not..

Beautiful picture!! Wish we had wild pheasant in PA still, miss those days...... You're not the only one. I was shooting wild pheasants in PA up until the mid 1980's. Now I have to travel to N. Dakota to hunt them. The stockings done by our game commission in S/E PA are a joke.
