Anyone here make and store chili seasoning in advance. I mix 2 cups of chili powdwer, 1/2 cup cumin, and 1/8 cup of garlic powder in a container with a 1/4 cup measure and store it in the cabinet. Any recipe that calls for chili powder, gets this. When I fix chili, 1-2# burger, in a cast iron chicken fryer, I use 1/4 cup of this chili seasoning.

yum, i like chili seasonings.

we buy the one quart size dark chili from Kroger. they have the regular, too.

we keep on hand paprika, garlic, onion powder, and black peppercorns, for grinding on the spot.

we are always on the lookout for marked down beef, including ground, chuck, and sirloin. we possess a knife that can cut stuff into 1/4 inch cubes as required. labor is cheap in my part of the world, grin

fresh onions stay in the sack, and are chopped as the recipes require.

hot coffee, ro-tell, and bush's beans comes to mind. grin
