Took this 36" bull on public land in New Mexico with a pre 64 mod 70 super grade 375 H&H @ 240 yrds. My first Oryx, these animals taste great!

My 13 YO daughter has a oryx tag for February on the WSMR, we are looking forward to it!

Freakin' awesome man. Beautiful bull and nice choice in rifles... I'll never get to the dark continent, so the missle range is likely my best opportunity.

I have a Classic M-70 in .375 H&H; not a pre-64, but a slick, accuarte rifle.
What load did you use on the oryx?

Thanks to all of you! It was a fantastic time, my fiance took a 37 1/2 inch cow the following weekend with a 7mm mag. I will post a pic. My load was a speer 235 grn on top of 73.0 grns of H4895.
