Why is our countries political system so screwed up? Politics as a career and special interest control of the system- plain and simple.

as long as we have no term limits on Congress, and no effective control on lobbyists, nothing will change.
The only people that can effect any change, are the very ones that benefit from the abuse of office.
Bottom line, we are just stuck with it.

If I understand things correctly congress in charge of all judges execpt the supreme court. And yet they take no action when these judges go against the laws they pass.
