JHC! what are they doing running a freaking background check? I'm pretty sure there is a minimum post count required to sell on marlin owners. I really like this rifle, by the way.

JHC! what are they doing running a freaking background check? FWIW, they're in the middle of a major software and server upgrade right now, so I'm not surprised that your registration request is slow to process. I put up a thread over there in the 336 forum with a link back over here.

much thanks red. My Buddy is the SIL of former knife make RO Easler. He gave me a hunk of Mastadon Bark Ivory to make a plug to fill the hole in the stock where the stud was. I dont think there was ever a bullseye.

I dont think there was ever a bullseye. To save you from doing any further thinking, from the Brophy book on Marlin Firearms: Marlin has used the bullseye trademark since 1922 on every Marlin rifle or shotgun with the exception of a year or two during the Depression years of the 1930's.
