Huntsman22: Thats an interesting pose and picture you posted for us - thank you.
I am negotiating right now on a MONSTEROUS Badger rug - I am trying to buy it from an acquaintance who's wife won't let him put the rug on their wall!
The owner killed the big boar Badger in SW Montana and weighed it - alledging that it went 42 (fourty two) pounds in the round!
I don't care what it weighed - it is by far the biggest Badger I have ever seen and a beautiful taxidermy job as well!
My latest publication from the Montana Departement of Fish, Wildlife and Parks lists "weights" of Badgers as up to 25 pounds. And a 42 pounder is way bigger than the norms - as is the rug I am trying to purchase.
Keep up the good work on the "digga's".
By the way, I killed a dandy boar Badger late last month on a "water run" up into the West Pioneer Mountains here in SW Montana - I have him all wrapped up nicely in a muslin bag in my freezer awaiting taxidermy.
The two quotes I have on making him into a rug are $375.00 and $425.00 - taxidermy IS getting expensive anymore!!!
Then last week I found this MONSTER Badger rug and hope to render it mine.
