Has anyone used this powder sucessfully in a 22 250? I use it in 223 308 444 and 30 30 with great results! It seems like a round that this powder would really work but cant find any data so dont know. I remember when they didnt think it would work in a 308 but it works great!

sure hope they changed their suppliers, used to be one 8 pounder would come from one country, next year we'd buy another 64 pounds or so, different country, and so on... finally got to be that cheap wasn't cheap especially when one lot of 2520 was over 200 fps slower and had horrible accuracy... decided then, that I'd never buy accurate again

IT's much to fast for the 250 and 308. The 444 might do well. It's the same speed as 4198H. Adam

I agree. Too fast for 22-250.

You don't have to fall into the same deal as most folks do, sometimes the non ideal powder burning ranges do extremely well in spite of themselves.

Problem as I've mentioned, will it come close to 322 one time, next bottle 335, next 380 next bullseye...ugh.... well yo get the idea.

checked another forum. this guy said it worked good in his 22 250 40 grain blitzking 4150 fps. said it was tem sensitive that was 34.5 grains backed down to 33 gr for 3900 fps. didnt mention other bullet weights . Ill start 10 percent lower with magnum primer. thats all I use for acc 2200. Now they make this powder again wonder if the quality control is better. Understand it was originally surplus Check powder for the 762 x39. anyone else use this powder. I really do like it but it burns a bit dirty

I bought 16 lbs of the "original". And yes, it was suplus Czech for the 7.62x39. I've used it almost exclusively in my 222s and it works very well.

Load data from Accurate:

I had a 8# jug of it and gave it away. It was too fast for my ARs - it didn't function them very well and was "peaky".

It would probably work a lot better in a bolt action.

I recieved an 8 pound jub from one of my dads coworkers several years ago. It sat around for a while and I started loading it for my 30/30 Marlin. I get great results with it, good velocity and accuracy. That max load I saw for the 150 grain Speer was 30 grains. As I worked up loads the lever started to pop open at 29.5 grains. I backed it off to 28.5 and have been doing well with that.
