Wow! Very impressive. I think that those two deer have more bone on their heads that all of mine put together over many years. You should be proud as you are obviously a skilled hunter.

Congrats on a great season, sometimes lady luck does smile really wide and you get off easy, but most times it takes many more days on stand to kill a couple bucks this size, unless your hunting with an outfitter that has already pre scouted locations and knows where to sit hunters to get opportunities at big bucks. I love the mass on the Iowa buck as I am a mass whore......Enjoy............Hb

Thanks, yea, it just all came together. My MO hunt was a one day only hunt, and I just picked a pinch point, bottleneck, funnel(whatever u want to call it) that looked like a great spot to pick up a buck as he cruised for does. During the rut, I hunt these locations exclusively. The Iowa buck was taken in pinch point travel route too.
