I took my son to a Bday party for one of his team mates yesterday,Airsoft war was the theme.I got him the AK47 model because it had the highest magazine capacity and it was the only one under $100.00.
well there we are,11 kids all football starters for us coaches armed to the teeth with automatic weapons (our QB had an M-4 and a sniper rifle),and us coaches with anemic AS pistols.
What Would You Do?
they shot the crap out of us!we paid for every lap and push up,thankfully we had some PBR to salve our wounds.
those things sting like a bastard!

yup, my son went through the airsoft phase, would even take them apart and modifies them to shoot harder.

I've been on the muzzle end of an airsoft gun enough to know that, heck yeah, they hurt!

My airsoft MEU Model 1911 will penetrate an aluminum soft drink can if you're close....about 5-10 paces. I have an outdoor thermometer that I shot when I got mine because I didn't think it was shooting a pellet. I couldn't see the white pellet so I didn't think it was feeding properly. I walked by the thermometer and noticed two star cracks in the face from a 20 foot shot. I guess it was working after all.

Airsoft & Simunition are good LE training tools. They allow for some great training scenarios.

It's amazing to me in this day and age of liability that "Airsoft" is marketed... my electrician is missing half his front tooth from getting hit with an airsoft shot from his kid!

I was raised playing paintball, so airsoft never appealed to me. It is a good way to keep the cat off the table though

You should see what my kids did to my aluminum roll-up garage door with AS pistols. Dang things almost penetrated!

I use my airsoft 1911 on the possums that run on the back fence wall and irritate my dog. One night I fired a full mag at the possum and he (?) only hissed, then I got my kids MAC-10 airsoft and fired a full mag. Possum fell off the fence into neighbors yard with big dog. Haven't seen possum for some time.

My wife bought me one when my son was about 2 years old. I mistakenly thought they were like the yellow pellet guns of yore... luckily I thought I'd better test it out before I shot him. One shot to the center of my hand told me technology had come a LOOOOONNNNGG way! It didn't bleed, but that sucker hurt for the rest of the day! I really don't want to imagine what it would have done to my little boy. Scary really.

I seen the real deal too.....knob creek machine gun shoot as a matter of fact for a $100 I coulda shot it too but that gun burns up your $100 worth of ammo waaaay too fast for me.
