I'll look forward to shaking your hand. I can assure you you'll have a fantastic time. There's some damn fine, decent folks that infest this place.

Yes Sir, the pleasure will be all mine, and I'll be on my best behavior grin

Just to shout out an FYI, any fire members coming up north to pick-up I-40E around Sallisaw Ok/ Ft Smith, AR, give me notice, we can ride together, or I can bring a little 30' enclosed trailer for rifles/gear and meat boxes.

Since you were sober,I'll assume you're one crazy SOB on top of it.

My son and I still talk about you in hunting camp.

He did use the knife. Must have catch dogs though to put out the real truth. One grabs an ear, one grabs the tail and holds the hog and kind of streches the hog out. Still have to get in there and stick the hogs heart.

Would be worth the trip to see someone chase down a hog without the dogs help.

Can you imagine telling a friend that you are going to spend 5 days with a guy you met on the internet who sells "new pig-in-heat body powder and hair gel"?

It would probably take some 'splaining.

But the great think about hunting in general, and the Fire particular, is that if it had not been for these two factors, there would have been places we never would have seen, and people we never would have met. And we would have been the diminished by the loss.

And Bob is one of those people.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Steve

Sent my deposit off to the lodge today.

The tentative dates in the OP haven't changed, have they? Still March 14-18?

Steve,

Put me on the "probable" list. I have one training conference I have to confirm dates on, but I should be there.

Outstanding!

I'm fairly certain I owe you a round or two after not managing to make times work when you were in Manch.

This is a VERY troublesome looking bunch. Could be considered an "Occupy Tennessee Movement."

Perhaps, a number of us should be on stand-by to evac those who will definitely require a Seal Team 6 extraction.

God help the great state of TN!.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Only thing troubling is your absence which could be resolved very easily.

I'm thinking that any of us who "insert" without SEAL Team 6 should "extract" themselves, without SEAL Team 6. Wouldn't want to needlessly endanger our Troops! laugh

I figure the Bourbon sales in TN should jump significantly that week.
