I did, a small doe. First kill with my 460 S&W mag, Ruger no.1. Damage was severe. Through the left shoulder, a 3" hole in the left rib cage and exited the right side. 300 gr Hornady SST ML bullet at 2175 fps.Dropped in her tracks!

I got a young doe this morning. Nothing fancy about any of the hunt. Real vanilla. 75 yard bang flop with my 30-06 168 TSX.

Got a 9 point, weighed 228 lbs, grossed 128 3/4. 298 yards 257 Roy Campfire load of 70 grs of RL 22 and 100 gr TSX. 7:00AM

I don't have any more room in my basement freezer, and the one in the garage is on the blink. Still have tags though. Going Saturday with a bud from work.
