ive got a 1908 model 94 30-30.it still shoots great and is is very good mechanical shape.im thinking about reloading for it or try some of that revolution ammo.it still gets core lokts shot through it.

check pressures, I think the revolution stuff was pretty carefully made to SAAMI, but check......

Good to be cautious as MartyC suggests but I'm virtually certain that any commercially available .30-30 ammo will be safe for use in your rifle. Companies have increased velocity by using newer powders (usually not available to the reloader) that can pick up maybe 200 FPS without a pressure increase. To my knowledge, no one ever offer a +P type round in .30-30.

You also won't have any problems reloading for it provided you first learn the mechanics of reloading and adhere to published reloading data from powder/bullet makers, not the hotrodders trying to turn everything into magnums on the pages of some gun rags.
