Congrats on a great hunt. Cool find but a shame someone couldn't have harvested that buck. Probably blue tongue?

The big nontypical was the buck I was hunting for in North Dakota,he was almost certainly lost to blue tongue.
I just happened to find him while still hunting in a thick area by the river.
I took the smaller eight point in North Dakota and the bigger one in Montana.
I was hunting with Tracy Weyer of Hidden Valley Outfitters whom I've known for years.

Nice bucks. I'd love to hear about the hunts.
What do you get from the outfitter; one-on-one guiding or just private land to hunt? Did you hunt from a boat, or through easements adjacent to the river? Spot and stalk, or just still hunting?

Congrats! Though I've never hunted there, I've spent a small amount of time in country like that, very neat. Hopefully, someday I'll be doing with a rifle in hand and not a paddlefish pole...
