Just bought four of these 245/75-16 @ $112... They are excellent in the snow. Very happy. Not the lt 10 ply's could not flip the extra coin but am very happy for the ride and traction.... Just thought someone may need some inexpensive snows for their truck...

Good info, if I may I'd like to add another inexpensive snow tire to the list.
Firestone winterforce. 265 70 17 $100 per tire a year ago.
I've had a couple sets, always impressed.
Something clever here.

I like Mastercraft tires. They are made by Cooper tires and every set that I have had is marked made in the USA on the sidewall.
Currently running the Mastercraft Ct-c on my truck and am happy with them.

These weren't the 10 ply I wanted... That was another $200 bill. Figured I will run these into the ground and buy the 10 ply when I can.... They flat work in the snow... I was pretty impressed...

Currently running the Mastercraft Ct-c on my truck and am happy with them. I have Mastercraft Courser A/T 2 265/70-17 tires on my Ram 1500 4x4. It started raining while we were hunting yesterday so we went off roading instead. Between the tires and the limited slip differential. I actually have 3 tires turning, the typical one in the front, but both of the rear, instead of the normal one in the front and one in the rear. I might go with the Courser CT when it comes time to replace my current tires.
Take nothing I say personal, remember....it's just the interweb!

+1 on the Firestone Winterforces, put them on the wifes Jeep Liberty and they rock. That thing will go in 2wd like it's in 4wd with those things. I paid like $425 out the door and on the road for them. Price aside they are Awesome, it's just a bonus that they are that cheap.
