Sako 85 Finnlight, Sako 75 300 Ultra, Sako 75 270 WSM, Sako 75 270 Win, Sako 85 25-06, Sako 85 Finnlight in 270 Win. There may be a few more hanging out too... I think I might have a problem... Dink OMG !! And, I have a hard enough time choosing between my Wby UL 280 & Sako 85 Finnlight 300 WSM.

Dink, you have a problem, but I don't think it needs a cure. Very nice collection and some cool classic models posted thus far. I started with Tikka (poor man's sako) and was impressed enough with function and accuracy that I stepped up to a Sako Grey Wolf 75 in 7mm-08 and this 85 SS 260 bedded in a Kevlar stock.

My Sako AV i bought for pretty cheap at Cabelas....getting a 26" barrel and McMillan stock. 22" barrel on a 7mm RM didn't do it for me.

Thanks for posting. I am very fond of the older sakos with the lovely blond wood, and the manlicher stocked carbines. GRF

I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Beautiful rifles! I've been wanting a nice Sako ever since I ran across a 75 Deluxe many years ago. I'm real close to pulling the trigger on a Sako Bavarian carbine. I'm thinking .308Win. I just need to sell a few that don't excite me anymore. Terry

I love that wood/stainless combo. Nice work on the vermin too.

Very nice rifles! Any insight on older Sako values..models and such? Would love to read up on them and have a better clue what is what.
