Have one with BRH reticle on a 300WM. I would make sure and look at the BRH vs the BRX. The lines are very small and hard to see on the BRX. Has been an excellent scope so far.

TGRoper1,

Do you have other scopes? Maybe you would tell us how they compare.

I have the z5 5-25X52 and really like it.

Definitely the BRH over the BRX for hunting.

I've got one with the new 4W reticle. Nice piece of glass and very useful range. Eye relief is a bit finicky on 18x.

Talley Lows fit perfectly w/ my #3 contour barrel. It would be tight fit w/ a heavy barrel.

I have one with the BRH reticle. It has been a great scope so far. The adjustments are accurate and the optical quality is terrific. It is also quite light (for a scope in this class) at a little over 15 oz.

One of the most versatile scopes I have ever owned.

Ringman,
Currently using IOR Valdada 2-10x42. Has been super so far. They are a bit overbuilt but okay with me. Has 4A reticle. Took a large mulie last week with it on a 7mm. Compared this scope to VX3 LR 6.5-20x40 plex. During low light and same power the Valdada is brighter, hard to define plex in the Leupold. The Leupold is great during good light. Probably best for prairie dog shoots. Also have couple Kahles TDS 3-9x42 which used for years. Cannot complain with them, very nice glass. Also have zeiss conquest with and without z600 plex. IMO the z600 is hard to use do to reticle floating within visual plane. Good Luck, TG
