Posted a week ago looking for a upland 20 But found an Ithaca SKB 12 ga model 100 26" Man that gun feels great and quick . Fellows asking $950 and it is clean but I know nothing about them Please Help Good Bad or other Thanx again DWG

While I've only owned a M200 in 20 ga for a short while (just couldn't warm up to a SxS), I own a "few" of their O/U models.
They are amongst my favorite shotguns.
Drop Redneck a note. He holds SKBs in high regards, and as a man who makes a living working on guns, I tend to respect his opinion a lot on what's good and what's not (of course, "fit matters" and will vary amongst shooters; I'm talking mechanicals here). See what he has to say about the M100 in particular, and pay attention to it.

I just sold a 12 and 20 here at the campfire. I've owned them since they were new. The 26" 12 was one of the nicest grouse guns. the 28" 20 was a pleasure to carry after pheasants and sharptails. I bought a really nice Euro double and the SKB's stated to do more safe time than hunting and they realy need to be out hunting.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Easily comparable to Brownings.. Price on those swing wildly - all depending on condition.. I see them starting at around $450 and going up to $1100.. Parts are still available but you'll rarely need 'em.. I think you'll be very happy with that firearm..

Well thanx to the info here I brought home the SKB 100 12ga 26"tubes mod/imp c . Took aweek to get back and make an offer after some discussion it was mine I looked the gun over slower this time and Not only does it just fall into place { site picture is right on] The gun is very very clean Merry Christmas DWG
