I'm in need of some brass to start the quest for a load for an up and coming 7mm mag I'm putting together on a 700 action. Are there any strong recommendations from 7mm mag (or even other cal) shooters who prefer a brand of brass over the other. I'm picky and I like to see the best performance out of my rifles hence why I reload.

I've got Norma brass for my 7mm-08 and have been happy. I'm wondering if Norma would be the wise choice for my 7RM as well over Win or RP? I have no experience with Win or RP other than .223 reloading and I get decent accuracy and # of reloads/case.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Norma or RWS.

I wish Lapua would start making it again - I have some old Lapua 7RM brass and it is very good.

The best brass I've tried is Norma but I've never tried Lapua or RWS.

I've used Winchester brass in the 7mm. RM for 40 years with no problems, and good longevity.

What is the purpose of the rifle? If it's hunting, then one of the domestic brands will give you all the accuracy you can need or, perhaps, all of the accuracy you can generate.
I've never used any Norma or Lapua for a 7mag but I've used Rem, Win, Fed and even some Imperial from Canada and they all worked just fine.

Norma is without question better quality brass than Winchester or Remington, FWIW though, my dad uses Winchester and shoots one hole groups all the time with it.
