After the pretty thorough discussion concerning the Bullpac frames, it seems no one doubts the strength of those packs but their suspension systems get mixed reviews, to be generous.

That being said, is there a pack frame out there that you have no complaints about? What are you using now? What's your pick of the litter?

Thanks.

Thirded, it's great.

Awesome suspension also, very comfy and the whole package is pretty lightweight to boot.

Barneys frame is big, too big for daypack duties IMO.

I started using a smaller MOLLE frame with bag and found it a great all around pack for dayhunts and packing out game.

The Alaskan guides are a pretty tough group of guys with a lot of miles under their belts. I bought a Barney's based on their recommendations and it is the best external out their for comfort and fit for heavy loads.

I have a Frame Pack, but this is what I prefer!

If I were hauling moose quarters regularly it may change, but elk and down it carries great!

I like the Kelty Cache Hauler. Kelty knows how to make a frame and suspension. Strong and not too spendy.

I've tried a few different externals.
The Barney's I own is awesome. Literally.
