What experiences do you have with Hornady brass ? Better than Remington (not so good in my opinion). Winchester do not make .375 H&H brass anymore, unfortunately, they were good.

Seems harder to me, but many love it. I use Winchester myself and I am not happy to hear that they quit making 375 H&H brass. T.S.

My only experience with Hornady brass has been handgun--44mag specifically.
While probably not what you were asking about, it was definitely tougher than Winchester and Remington.

I bought a box and found it to be hard as well. I am not sure why but I ended up needing to run each piece through my FL die twice before I could get it sized properly. Never had any problems with Rem or Win other than a few dinged cases per bag.

I've had very good experiences with Hornady brass, in fact I went through and resized 100 cases of '06 brass and not one of them exceeded .002" thous. runout on my casemaster. Case weights didn't exceed a maximum variation IIRC, 3grs total weight from high to low. Better than any box of Federal Gold Medal Match brass I've ever had on my loading bench. I like it well enough that I ordered 300 cases of it for a 300HH....... YMMV.

The little bit I've used has been good, but several knowledgeagle shooters I know didn't like the cases from the '06 ammo they used at the CMP games at Camp Perry.

I use it when I must.
But when I use I love it.
I have it for the .450 Marlin and .480 Ruger.
I have a small amount (200) of 223 Rem. but never reloaded it.
The 480R and 450M is excellent stuff.

I don't have an opinion on it per se, but I did do some weighing of 308 cases and found they are much lighter than LCM, Federal, RP and even a little lighter than win. I don't know what that may mean other than may be able to have a slightly heavier load of powder (.5-1gr) in it compared to others.

I've used it in 300wby. I bought a bunch when it was about $23/50. It came extremely well done as far as virgin brass goes. All case mouths were really nice and round....not all beat up like rem/win brass. Also much cleaner without all the acid stains you see on most other virging brass. I did a little bump of the case mouth with a die to be absolutely sure things were perfect, did a vld chamfer and seated bullets. Neck tension was very consistant and runnout of loaded virgin rounds was super with very little runnout. My only complaint is the primer pockets seemed a little soft and expanded quicker at the same velocity that doesn't bother normal wby brass. (and yes it took 1.5 grains less powder for the hornady to be a match with the norma/wby cases) FWIW the wt of the hornady cases was heavier than norma/wby so I'm thinking possibly in consideration of faster primer pocket expansion.....they may have been made by federal??

I've used it in 44 mag.,308 Marlin, and 6.5 Creedmoor. Never saw a reason to think of it as lesser brass than any other brands. In the case of the Creedmoor in particular found it to be very good consistency wise and able to handle pressure and still be reloaded multiple times. YMMV.
