Is that the same one plasticized hanging in your shower? Don't have one in the shower, but I do keep one in the bathroom so that I have one nearby while I'm in the shower, and I do have it in plastic, yep (It gets quite steamy in there), but that's a different one. Here's the one you're talking about. It's got two V-shaped cutouts as quick tear points, indicated with black permanent marker.

TexnCal. Really nice 1911's there as well. And TWO 10mm's! That Colt Combat Delta Elite is DA BOMB! I am a pauper in comparison.... I am slowly upgrading my DE to Combat level of accoutrements as I can. I will ask you the same question, what 10mm ammo are you liking these days? Many thanks - I actually have three 10mm's One is a Blued Delta, early production. Pretty nice and un-messed-with. I also have a .40 S&W barrel for the Elite 10/40, but never have tried it. My fave load is 12 gr AA#7 under a 155 XTP or Sierra, which easily makes 1325 fps. There's a couple of others, hiding around somewhere...

This thread is GREAT! Pistol porn at its finest, almost. (that would require some Pythons and SAA's to be the ultimate porn) but LOTS of really excelent pistola's. I only have one 1911 but it started life as a good one (Delta Elite Stainless) and I am fixing it up as I can afford to. Lots of great idea's on this thread. I am pleasantly surprised to see so many other 10mm 1911's out there amongst my friends here. That round does give the 'ol 1911 a whole nuther set of capabilities, don't it!? A bad guy 100 or even a little more yards away would be in a heap of trouble if a good gun man had an accurate 10mm pointed his way. And, it turnes a 1911 into a pretty capable medium range big game gun as well. VERY close to 41 Magnum specs. Carry on, PLEASE!

Thanks Mark. With all of you guys that shoot 1911's I cant belive it took my so long to discover how much fun they are. After shooting Wades Kimber last June I bought one within a week. I've had it 6 months now, put a lot of ammo through it and dont regret the purches one bit.

Here is one my Godfather gave me a few years ago. He was a Chief Warrant Officer in the Army for 30 years. It was his carry gun in combat. It is an Ithaca gun. I take it out once a month and put a clip through it. rudyc

Ed Brown Special Forces, Milt Sparks VMII (when I'm trying to conceal but since I OC in Utah I carry in a Sparks BN55 OWB) and 230 FN LBT cast. LOVE EB's choice of wood. Compared to the Baer TRS. I prefer the looks of the EBSF. Alan
