Here's one for the bad guy list. I bought a Browning BLR in 7mm-08 from David Vandiver 68 yrs old 15015 Laguna Dr San Antonio. He's mainly on 'The High Road' forums, under calaverasslim.
I took the gun to the range & only got light primer strikes. I could see the receiver screws were buggered up from someone going inside. The hammer spring was also lighter than my other BLR.
I brought it to Browning in Arnold, MO since I had a trip down that way. I figured I would pay for new springs myself & have it fixed right. They said it needs a bunch of theings, including a new receiver, at the tune of over $1000.
Dave says I may of buggered it up myself. What an AZZ.
