And I was going to say great things about your BB buck. OK I will anyway. That is one fine looking deer killed with a supurb rifle. Congratulations.......... smile smile

Here is my 2011 bear shot with 99 in 375win and 3 point buck shot with 99E in 243win. Also shot small doe with 99E. Part of bear made into brats already, boxed and frozen until 2012 Savagefest! Sauerkraut optional.......

Looks like a memorable season. That bear looks to have a choice pelt. I'm hoping to sample one of those brats at the Fest.

Mmmm, bear brats. Drooling here. (As long as there's no sauerkraut within nose range. Ha ha.)

Here's a few scenes from my 2011 hunting season here in Montana. No shots fired at big game anyways. Saw and passed on a few nice animals.

300 BB in not a common gun. In fact they are pretty damn rare.

Nice!

I got this little fork horn with my bobbed barrel 99EG in .358 Winchester in Schoharie County NY on Dec. 3rd. He was chasing
3 does, and as you can imagine, 16 hooves made a LOT of racket coming in on my tree stand. I also took a spike last weekend with my CVA .50 cal. Muzzleloader while still hunting, but I didn't have a camera.

EG in 358, now that's something you don't see every year. Nice job, that buck is going to be delicious.

Well, nobody said it had to be a 99 or a classic Savage, so here's the buck I shot with my Savage Model 11FLNS this fall. It is a .223 Rem. and the buck succumbed to a handloaded 55 grain Speer SP.

Thats a gorgeous Ontario buck there!

What WMU you get that big boy in? I see lots of sap lines in the background, looks like where I'm from.

Nice buck!

However, Unfortunately for you when Savage built your gun.........they put the bolt on backwards.

Tough break frown

Our camp is in the southern part of WMU 56, not far from Norland.
My cousin owns the property and he has one of the biggest maple syrup operations in the area.

99guy,
I'm a natural right-hander and right eye dominant but a .22 bullet to the spine many moons ago changed how I shoot.
I'm glad some of the firearms companies make a few "wrong-handed" rifles for those of us who shoot from the left shoulder grin.
