It's good to see some new products from a guy that builds good actions seems fairly reasonable too!

John has been very leftie friendly with his CM actions. I am hoping that continues with the Ti ones.

"the all TI action should be interesting--a 23oz action??"
The Weatherby Mark V six lug action weighs less than 26 ounces. Of course it is limited to a .470" head.

Myself included... I saw the $350 extra part, but no price for the original CM action.

Ringman, This is a better comparison. http://www.brownprecision.com/SelectingComponents.htmThe Weatherby is a heavy receiver maybe because of the heavy bolt and other components. Lightweight bottom metal and bolts are not available for the Weatherby.

butchlambert1,
Thanks for the list. I will copy and paiste into my word perfect. The list didn't include the Mark V six lug version, tough. It is a scaled down version of the orginal Mark V.
The way I got around the lack of light weight bottom metal is by having Lone Wolf make the stock bottom like a Remington ADL.

Weatherby has been making the 6 lug for many years. My Mk5 in 300 Weatherby was made in the 80s. I wasn't aware that they scaled them down. Where can you get that info?

Advice from Jim Nordhof at Pierce re the availability of left hand Ti actions... Yes we should be making them in left hand. I cannot tell you the exact timeframe when they will be available but should not be more than a few months from now.
