Hey Guys, I came across a forend in mint condition that I assume is for a Winchester. It is much like a grooved forend for a model 12 shotgun but much smaller. It is 5 5/8 inches long with a very slight taper. At the wide end it has a diameter of approx. 1 1/2 inches and tapers down to about 1 1/4 inches diameter. Any help identifying what model this fits would be appreciated.
Respectfully Brian Lowe

Does it have screw holes on both sides?
It's probably a 22 RF rifle slide action fore end. May not be Winchester.

In this case a picture is worth a thousand words. Remington, Savage, Ithaca, Winchester, and others used "rat-tail" fore-ends on numerous models over the years.
