Kampfeld Customs Looks cool, shaves some weight, drives some people crazy...
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

He was doing them for 90.00 bucks, not a bad price.

Kampfeld Customs Looks cool, shaves some weight, drives some people crazy... +1. Why? Because he's Kampfeld! I've had 4 done by him to include spiral fluting and skeletonizing the bolt handle/knob. All of them are perfect and turnaround time was ridiculous (i.e.: fast). Here's a pic of one.

Kamfeld has done four Rem 700s for me, bolt spiral fluted. All look great and as others hve mentioned, very fast turn time.

It looks as thought the Glory of The Lord is shining don on your gun.

I'm looking for a smith to flute my 700 bolt.....duplicate the Ti......faux Ti project Who would you have do the work and why? Thanks Mitch It's not hard to come up with the "who" ... But the "WHY"; I'm kind of having trouble with... The only plausible answer I can offer; is to be like how many other copycats here on the 'fire... It would seem as if one person did one, someone else thought it looked "KEWL", and guess what? It started a Campfire fad.... Personally, I can't see that it saves enough weight to notice... I have many lwt rifles, and only one fluted bolt. (And it's NOT spiral fluted...) I bought it that way. It's a Daryl Holland custom purchased from an esteemed member of the 'fire, of whom I'm proud to call a friend. And I purchased it long before the "FAD" hit... FWIW: I've played COPYCAT all that I intend to... (Yeah... I got caught up in the "McSwirly" fad, too....) GH
