I just saw a article some where that said you can get almost 100 fps over the 4850 in the 06? I think this is a new powder or maybe newer powder. Is this as tempt stable as the H4831 and H4850.

If there is any proof of a man in a hunt it is not whether he killed a deer or elk but how he hunted it.

I have also tried it in the .30-06 with 165's. I worked up to the maximum Hodgdon lists (57.0 grains) and got close around 2875 fps and excellent accuracy.
That, however, was on an average September day. When I retested the load at 0 degrees F. a couple months later, it only went 2700 fps, didn't shoot as well, and the point of impact shifted some. This was in a NULA .30-06 that, like most NULA's, tends to shoots different bullet weights to the same place. In a typical factory I suspect the shift in point of impact would have been a lot more.
So in this particular rifle it didn't show any velocity or accuracy advantage over H4350, and didn't perform nearly as well in cold weather.
