Anyone got some pictures of your mystery ranch loaded up packing in or out? Let's see some pics.

81lbs of gear on a solo trip last fall for sheep and grizzly. 70lbs of gear. Not much for gear, day hunt from camp with the 6500. 'nother day hunt from spike camp....
Why pack all that messy meat out of the bush when we can just go to the grocery store where meat is made? Hell,if they sold antlers I would save so much money I could afford to go Dolphin fishing. Maybe even a baby seal safari.

Don't have a pic handy but I can't say enough about how much I love my MR Kodiak. Have alternated between it and a buddies Kifaru and the MR is the hands down winner.

Phil,
Sorry for the delayed response.
His pack is the LongHunter Rendezvous.
Perhaps my original post came off as too strong as there are certainly merits to the Kifaru. I liked it very much as a day pack as it compresses more than the MR. It was also great hauling moose quarters using the cargo chair.
Overall though, the lack of exterior pockets combined with the ridiculous height and poor balance when fully loaded made me decide to stick with my MR as my all around pack.
