Why can't they go ahead, build a lefty in the EW and be done with it.

You missed the Featherweight with a 24" barrel.

I like this new stainless Ultimate Shadow rifle better than the Extreme Weather model, I hate the blocky Bell & Carlson stock on the Extreme Weather, this stock might look a little out there but I bet it feels good, I'm thinkin one of these in .300 WSM might be nice.................Hb

I had one of the local money pits order me a 264 Featherweight yesterday. It took that to get me to buy my first FN70! If only it was stainless, I would really be a happy camper.

That is going to be one sa weet rig mudboy! We will HAVE to see some pics of that one, and a report.

Are there any left hand 264 WinMags in the line up?

I'm pretty sure one of the Sporter .264s will be ordered on my next trip home. Maybe one of the Alaskan .338s down the road? And I'd like to pick up one of the '71s, though it's not as pressing as the others.

I'd buy 3 or 4 as soon as they hit the shelves.

I think I'll get one in .30/06 also. It would be interesting to see what velocity can be achieved with a 25-inch barrel.

I heard about that Alaskan model 2-3 months ago, and it is exactly what I was picturing. It is basically a true pre-64 look alike. Even down to the saddle for the rear sight. I was getting ready to buy a Ruger SR556e, but I think the Alaskan just took priority. Man, thats just a classic looking rifle.

That Alaskan model seems pretty heavy to me, wonder what it would go in a Micky Edge?

Be cheaper just to get a blued ultimate shadow and park it in an EDGE.

That Ultimate SS will kill the EW sales. With them both at the same weight, I wouldn't pay $300 more just to get the B&C stock and a fluted barrel. I'd just put that $$ toward an edge.

Looks like they brought back the Model 94 in 30-30 38-55.
But who's going to pay $1500 for one?

I agree i'm not a fan of the B&C stock. The 2 Extreme Weathers i looked at had a lousy fit with that stock.

For a change, I wanted my next .30-06 to wear a 24 barrel. So with the new Ultimate Shadow, Ill get both stainless steel and a 24 barrel. Life is good CP
