Be prepared for posters to show up to tell you "No they don't use it" but "they use this bullet".

Yup. Haven't killed anything with it yet, but they shoot well from my 25-06 Weatherby....

I'm running 80 TTSX's out of my custom 25-06 over IMR 4831 at a chrono'd 3515 fps. Not a max load, but super accurate from my 24" barrel and plenty fast enough for yotes and deer here in Georgia.
Have only busted a yote so far with this load. Broadside, 80 yds through both lungs. He spun around for a bit and died right there. The exit was about 3/4" diameter.

I'm running 85 grain TTSX in my Sako A7 ant it makes bug holes at 100yds.
I'm running a leupold CDS rig and the load clocks at 3,077 FPS, almost seems unfair to use on deer - no kick, just bang and they don't go far.

No, but I use the 100 gr Hornady...
Dang SU35, you were right!
I'm also thinking of trying the TTSX in my .25-06; so I'm kinda interested in what others are able to do with it.

I reload the 80 grain Tipped TSX in my 25-06 and they really shoot well.
I use a maximum load of IMR 4831 over a Fed210M primer in a Remington case. I get 3600 fps and great groups.
I have used this on antelope the last two seasons in New Mexico and it drops them on the spot. Really puts them down.
Nothing more than pure dumb luck, but this bullet at 3600 fps gives the same point of impact as the 100 grain TSX at 3350 fps in my rifle.

Yep. Bugholes in my friends sons 25-06. Close to 3600 fps and hardly any recoil. Kid shot his first deer with it this year. He put it too far back just under the spine as near as I can tell. I was hoping to hear that he pole axed him, but ya can't win em all.

I had better luck closer than farther. My first trial resulted in the best groups at .050" jump. I need to do some more work around there to really tune it.

Tom
