Looks like the kind of big Buck we get here in Alachua County. I grew up in Kissimmee back in the fifties. Don't recall any of the lads bringing in a buck that size! Congratulations.

i have hunted near yeehaw junction many times, south on 441 a few miles then on the east side of turnpike (right near the service plaza).... where are you at? Very near Yeehaw junction, just east of the Rollins Ranch. Do you still hunt that area?

Nice buck! Really like how the tips almost touch. He'd have made a nice Iowa buck.

Very nice buck! Steelie says there ain't no big bucks in FL. Trust me on this... There are some absolute MONSTERS but they're more rare than you'll find in the states north of us... Most Florida hunters with the time and finances get on leases in Georgia and Alabama where there are a lot of biggers bucks but if you hunt long and hard enough you just might find a dandy like the OP did here. I have Florida friends with walls full of GREAT bucks they've killed from Florida but these guys aren't casual hunters either. They're rabid hunters that spend months in tree stands, use every scent in the book, scout year round and used game cams religiously year round as well. There are hunters and there are HUNTERS... I'm a bit more casual about it than these guys... LOL $bob$
