Rancho it seams like you are just trolling for a fight, what team is in Montana? What roll model ? I'm just saying, the thread is about Tebow not bashing every comment right?

Well, since I grew up in New England I'm not sure I'll disagree... still, I REALLY like Tebow and will be secretly pulling for him and his underdogs if nothing else...

I would have bet money on the Steelers with the number one defense. If the Broncs dont turn the ball over, who knows!!!

Being a Raider fan I'm no fan of the Broncos, but dammit, I've jumped on the Tebow express, and I want to see some liberal heads explode.

And all the ME athletes can't stand it, he just set the bar too high for them.

I'm not a religious type, but it's good to see someone stand for what they believe in and not be beaten down by those who don't...especially when under the spotlight this guy is under.

Ive know few, sadly, who's beliefs would hold up as well.

As has been said he seems like one of the good guys and that isn't all that common amongst NFL players nowdays.Win or lose Tebow seems to be comfortable with himself and his faith and in the long run of life that trumps wins on the field.Aside from that he's fun to watch, and as unlikely as it may be I'd love to see him kick Brady's ass! All the urbanites hate the guy, while us in the country think he is great. We need more Tim Tebows in this word!

Steely, That's pretty cool you posted that 6 yrs back. Rather foretelling on your part. Noticed a mention farther down about a Mitch Mustan, what's he doing Saturday?

Tim Tebow is one of the few sports figures today that is worthy of having kids look up to him. Whether or not he becomes a great QB will only be decided in time but i honestly can't think of a bad thing to say about him as a persona and role model......and thats not something i can say about many athletes today.

I respect him as a person and an athlete. But like Vince Young, he's getting away with having a great running game and defense, while being a very sub-par quarterback. One thing he's always done is throw good deep passes. The Steelers left their corners one on one with those big, physical wide recievers and actually played to his one passing strength.

Tim was the same way when he played here at UF. He gave 100% to everything he did, be it his mission work, or his athletics.
I have never seen a person that was better at motivating others by his example.
Win or lose on the field, Tim remains a class act.

"Just the opposite," Tebow says. "It's by far the best thing I do to get myself ready. Here you are, about to play a game that the world says is the most important thing in the world. Win and they praise you. Lose and they crush you. And here I have a chance to talk to the coolest, most courageous people. It puts it all into perspective. The game doesn't really matter. I mean, I'll give 100 percent of my heart to win it, but in the end, the thing I most want to do is not win championships or make a lot of money, it's to invest in people's lives, to make a difference."

Not a huge fan of his game, but I'm fascinated with him as a human being.

He's getting the run because he's an anomaly in today's modern day athlete. And frankly, he's a breath of fresh air - hard not to pull for a guy like that.
