While I would plainly state that Tebow does not have the arm Elway has, I notice some similarities from the early years...

Just like Elway, Tebow came from a big state and big name college, which is generally a black mark against rookie athletes here in Colorado. Plus, he was McDaniels pick and McDaniels was fast becoming unpopular here (that's an understatement).

But the Broncos needed a spark, they were flat, boring, and uninspiring, and for some reason I've been rooting for Tebow to have a chance since the start of the season. I mean a bizillion dollar quarterback sitting on the sidelines didn't make sense.

Well he's proved his worth, and his demeanor and attitude just makes his success even better. Even though Tebow hasn't lit up the stats, he has make the entire Broncos team better--a lot better. And he makes the Broncos one of the most dangerous football teams to come along in a while.

It's fun watching the Broncos again. I love it when they win ugly--reminds me of the Elway-Reeves era during the 80's.

Champ Bailey getting healthy had more to do with the team's success than anything.

Watching Tebow is sort of like watching Favre. You never know what's going to happen but it's likely to be interesting and fun to watch. Easily my two favorite quarterbacks to watch, though I don't care for either team. And I LOVE to see Elway lose - even if he's not on the field. Maybe especially because he is not on the field.

Frankly, Rodgers and Brady bore the dickens out of me, though they are unarguably better quarterbacks. But they are way too dull.

This whole thing makes no football sense, of course. Most NFL players hardly talk to teammates before a game, much less visit with the sick and dying.

Isn't that a huge distraction?

"Just the opposite," Tebow says. "It's by far the best thing I do to get myself ready. Here you are, about to play a game that the world says is the most important thing in the world. Win and they praise you. Lose and they crush you. And here I have a chance to talk to the coolest, most courageous people. It puts it all into perspective. The game doesn't really matter. I mean, I'll give 100 percent of my heart to win it, but in the end, the thing I most want to do is not win championships or make a lot of money, it's to invest in people's lives, to make a difference."

Not a huge fan of his game, but I'm fascinated with him as a human being.

He's getting the run because he's an anomaly in today's modern day athlete. And frankly, he's a breath of fresh air - hard not to pull for a guy like that.

That about sums up my thoughts about him also. I hope he wins the superbowl.

High schoolers don't do that against the Patriots.

The Broncos had a better season than most expected. We'll see how they do next year.

The NE loss will be blamed on Tebow but the truth is, they needed to send the plane back to Denver. They forgot to bring the defense and the offensive line. Tebow didn't have a prayer. The NE defense was on him every play and we all saw how well the Denver defense kept the game close. It's a credit to Tebow that he was able to outrun the defense as often as he did. He made some pretty good escapes when the Denver front line took coffee breaks. Then, the Denver receivers kept dropping the ball. There were many dropped passes that should have been caught. The whole team was a fiasco.

did you read what rock chuck wrote or watch the game?
or are you a Tebow hater and since they lost it must be his fault.

He's a guy who stands out, on and off the field. I haven't enjoyed watching any team play as much as watching Tebow and the Broncos the last few weeks. and the more I learn about him and how he treats his fellow man, I like him even more.

Well, I'm bummed that the Broncos lost. I can't stand east coast crap and Bradychik is the worst of the bunch. But beat they were. There defense sucked and their offense was the same. End of story.

I find it interesting how many folks get wound up over Tebow, but he is more fun to watch that anyone since Favre. I look forward to seeing him next year.

Close call Rancho.

Denvers going to have a long off season. Lots of changes need to be made on offense and defense. Hoping with the off season and a complete training camp Tebow improves his throwing accuracy. If he doesnt I dont think hell be around long.

Denver needs a lot of help at offenive and defensive back positions.

I like Tebow alot and wish him the best!!
