FS $800 plus shipping to your FFL This revolver has been in the family since 1981, and shot less than 100 rounds in that 30 years. It is a truly classic Smith, with deep blue and glass smooth action. It shoots either rimmed .45ACP or you can use moon clips with rimless .45ACP. (A couple of clips are included.) Comes in the original mahogany box, complete with the un-used cleaning accessories. Pinned barrel, wide target trigger and hammer. It does have a white insert in the front sight, and I do not know if that was original. The interior of the box has started to powder away, as is often the case with boxes of this age.

What is the barrel length? Is it marked "25" or "25-2"?

It is a 6" barrel, and will get back to you re the marking rather than rely on my memory.

The first Center fire revolver I purchased was that exact model, and it shot like a bench rest rifle. It is also the only firearm ever stolen from me, I replaced it with a Model 625.
If only my finances were better. No one will regret having one of these in their possession.

[ The front site has been modified at some point in its history as it should be a plain patridge site, overall a very sweet S&W
