Had he not repeatedly told us, we might never have known that one of our own campfire members, "Boxer", cpn, ranks as one of the world's great photographers, philosophers, humour writers and phishermen!
Now, as his degenerative condition worsens, with some days bad and others worse, it could be a good time for his legions of fan and admirer to post reminisces of phavorite postings by Boxer, cpn. These postings, no doubt punctuated phrequently by witty submissions from Boxer, cpn himself, will pay tribute to the diminuitive giant among us.
Though the organizational meeting of the BOXER,CPN phan club phailed phor lack of quorum, or anyone, to be precise, I have magnanamously stepped up to carry it phorward.
No need to thank me now of course.

So Terry...
Since you started this thread.. What's your reaction to the fact that your scope cover fails to protect scopes in a wet environment?

Hi Calvin, we are trying to move the Boxer discussion to the Fan Club thread, so that back on the scope cover thread, we can discuss scope covers. It takes a bit of work, but we are getting there. Neoprene is not waterproof and everyone knows it, although the nylon coating helps. Neoprene does wick, and that is its function, as well as to keep direct impact of moisture or debris from the lenses. Have you tried one yet? Terry

Terry, Your website states: You have found the last scope cover you will ever need. ScopeShieldstm are incredibly different from other neoprene full-body covers in that not only do they "slingshot" off the scope instantly, they still retain on your rifle via the ingeniously simple "keeper" loop. (Pat Pending)
No more fumbling in the field when a sudden shot opportunity arises. No more obscured, wet or foggy scope lenses. And no fretting about what to do with your lense cover. It stays with you and your rifle! So, if it's not waterproof, how can we not "fret" about foggy scope lenses with your product. Pardon me for being confused.

So this was started just as a way to bash someone? It would appear to be a waste of Ricks site, as are all personal attack threads. Especially when we have guys on here with life and death struggles going on. Better to spend our time directing our energy to help the ones needing support.
"The 375HH is the greatest level of power you can get for the investment in recoil." (JJHack) 79s and losttrail, biggest waste of air.

Hey, don't be wasting a perfectly good personal attack thread with desire for actual, you know, knowledge. /sarcasm

Boxer = Big Stick = 406_SBC(the nicest of the bunch) I see why he is so good at smoking out multiple personalities. It is simply stunning. I really need me a good alter ego.
