I spraypainted a Ruger 10-22 with Krylon paint with a Primer that went on first. Now I am wanting to take it off.I painted the entire rifle and the stock is plastic. What do I need to take it off? Thanks
Lacquer thinner, Krylon doesn't stand up well to any solvent. Don't saturate the stock with the lacquer thinner and you may be able to save the underlying finish.

Missed the part about the stock being plastic, I had wood on the brain. Go easy with the lacquer thinner, use a moist, not soaking, paper towel and you should be ok. Krylon dissolves a whole lot faster than the plastic in any gun stock I've used even softens. Standard suggestion to test on an inconspicuous area applies.

Sand blasting may be too aggressive on the plastic. Look into having your stock blasted with bakiing soda, there are businesses that specialize in this service. They can take the lettering off an aluminum soda can and the base metal will look like nice clean aluminum, should be able to do the same on plastic leaving no sign it was ever painted.
