Ya rost said he shot them like that, I just couldn't do it.
2700 at 7000ft should be about equal to what I'm getting with 77gr SMK's at 1000ft wiyh TAC, they show 2650fps in my 16" Noveske. Won't hang with the A-max's though but they do kill coyotes pretty dead. I'll just have to keep calling them in closer...
Did it that way for a long time, never had a hitch in rapid fire matches as I used it that way only for 300 yard rapid fire matches.... Rounds are fugly as all get out.... and you have to reduce the charge since you'e adjusted the internal case capacity fairly..
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

I bought a slightly used Leupold Prismatic today, it should be here in a few days. I had looked through one a few days ago, and liked how it worked for me.

I have a couple Eotechs on the AR pistola and M4, but usually find my hunting AR's more useful with magnifying optics. I have a Vortex Crossfire 1.5X4X24 on one and a Vortex Viper 2X7X32 on the Predator Pursuit. For the price, I have been very pleased. I caught both on sale and got a good buy. I don't think they even offer the 1.5X4X24 any more.

Having trouble deciding on the optics. Right now I have open sight employed. What do you suggest. I used a matte 2x7 Leupold with the LRD reticle.

I apologize if I missed it, but what will you be using the rifle for? On my "go-to" setup, I have an Aimpoint micro in a LaRue mount. I have an 18" hunting or "spr" style setup that currently has a 3-9 on it. If you want a red dot, the Aimpoints and Eotechs are highly praised by many. For a low power variable scope, there are many options that are only limited by your budget.
