I've got a Burris 4.5-14x42 with an Elevation turret for sale, if you're interested in anything like that.

I've got one that I will sell. I bought it last year and don't use it. It has been mounted and shot about 50 rounds on a 25.06. It is in mint condition with the box/papers I have not ordered the free CDS turret yet, so that is still available. I want $440 shipped. I can send pictures.

I have one. Let me run my scope line up and see if I can part with it.

Hey Spence1875, yea I got your pms that you acceppted my offer, but in the time I sent the offer and the time you responded I had gotten a couple other replys for other scopes, just trying to explore all my options. When i got home from work tonight I was going to pursue your scope, but now that you have tried to run my name through the dirt in less than 24hrs time I really dont know how to deal with a guy like that? BTW what does a guys start date have to do with his credibility.

The problem is, you agreed to purchase it and then backed out. You were "considering other offers". That's not good practice around here or anywhere. If you make an offer and it's accepted then you need to honor it.
No need to wonder how "to deal with a guy like that". Charles is one of the good guys around here.
The reason he was concerned about how long you had been registered was because if you are not honorable then you won't stick around long on this site. More risky to sell to someone that doesn't have a history of good transactions.

I never said anything about backing out,I just left him hanging for a bit while I explored other offers, yours being one of them,I will gladly honor it. you did the same thing to me when you said you had one of these scopes you might part with and then left me hanging with no response. okbob51 said he had a scope for me then sold it to someone else before I got home from work to respond. sure i got my feelings hurt but I never tried to run anyone down.

All you had to do was be curtious and respond to the two follow up pms I sent that u read within minutes of my sending, even if you changed your mind a response is expected. An offer is your word here. I send stuff all the time to long time members the next day after making the deal before I have received payment. I also loan gunsmithing tools sometimes to the like pro bono. Sorry if I offended you, next respond to pms when you make an offer instead of ignoring them and as u said exploring options.
I am done with any more comments on this. Be safe all.
