I'm having trouble with this S&W with fixed sights. It hits low and to the right. It's about 1" ea way at 10 yds. All I can figure is to file it down for the vertical. But for the horizontal, I don't see how to fix it.
Any ideas out there. Oh, and it's nickel plated to top it all off.

Try turning the gun in yoour hand a bit. Actually what are you shooting at 10 yards that 1" will matter?.

That's like OCD, but in the correct alphabetical order. Truth though, I'd like to be able to hit bunnies with it out to a little further than 20 yds, if I can.

Steven,
I carried a Model 10 HB for 20+ yrs OTJ and when at the range to qualify if guys were shootin low and to the right it was usually they were squeezing their fist while pulling the trigger, putting the sight picture low. Try practicing trigger squeeze. Just a thought, there are so many variables.
And nickel plated revolvers held up great, you would be surprised what accumulates in an open top holster that you carry 24/7. Mine was blue and summertime the backstrap would rust a matter of hours...high humidity, salt sweat from your forearm resting on it turned it a solid dark brown patina. Good Luck Bob
