My grandfather in Scotland never went anywhere without his (or a pocketful of sweeties). Here in Boston, what with the large Irish population, they're still popular. Lots of guys I grew up with wore them. My brother wore one for years. I think they're cool, and not age-specific, but you either look good in one, or you don't. I don't, so I don't wear one. Edit: BTW, in these parts, they're known as a 'scully' or 'scally' cap or hat. Last edited by kamo_gari; 01/29/12.
