I use Norma brass for my 6.5-284.Weighing my Norma brass i have about 5 out of 20 that has a Diff. of about 4 grains.
I'am shooting a 7mm-08 that i'am going to get dies for and start reloading and have about 50 peices of federal brass and they weight about .1 to.05 grains Differ.
Is norma brass this bad all the time in the weight department?
Also i have been reading about nosler brass that they have came out with and wondering if anyone on the campfire tried them out yet?

No they are not.....I ran into the same problem with the Norma 300wsm brass.I just sorted them within .5 gr and had enough for 3 sets of match brass.....

Same here. Not only that, but the last batch of Norma 6.5x284 brass has horrible variances in neckwall thickness, some as bad as .006!!

That is why I no longer waste my time with Norma brass, though many seem to like it.

I often use Lapua instead of Norma, premium cost should give premium quality. Lapua has been great when available in my calibers.
