I have one SA Hawkeye, with another on the way, and I'm thinking I may want to swap the factory handle out. What patterns are available? The front action screw is the basis for this question. Been meaning to ask or call McMillan, but hadn't got around to it. I'm sure somebody here knows the answer! I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

I have two currently, 308 Norma mag and 257 Roberts neither have pillars. Both are bedded front of action and about 1st 2" of barrel, nary a problem. I asked Rick about it when I ordered my stock - he said McMillan will NOT install a front pillar, rear pillar only. He said most folks that order McMillans for Rugers skip the pillars. David
