I have one SA Hawkeye, with another on the way, and I'm thinking I may want to swap the factory handle out. What patterns are available?

Had a Mark II Classic, pretty good ergos. Similar to a Mark X Mauser stock. Relatively narrow forend and grip. Has a cheekpiece.

Thanks, Carlos. I was hoping that one fit a Hawkeye. I tend to like the classic style stocks.

Anyone know if there is McMillan stock that will fit a Ruger Hawkeye African 375.

The MKII Classic for sure, might want to call about the Hunter as it has a slim forend.

Does McMillan pillar for the Hawkeye/77 Mark II? The front action screw is the basis for this question. Been meaning to ask or call McMillan, but hadn't got around to it. I'm sure somebody here knows the answer!

They can do it. I have two currently, 308 Norma mag and 257 Roberts neither have pillars. Both are bedded front of action and about 1st 2" of barrel, nary a problem.

I asked Rick about it when I ordered my stock - he said McMillan will NOT install a front pillar, rear pillar only. He said most folks that order McMillans for Rugers skip the pillars.

Sactoller,

Are yours floated or does McMillan keep the pressure point at the end of the barrel channel?
