Dana Design. Terraplane internal frame. Dark blue. Pack size Large. Belt size Large. 6050 cubic inches. 1989 pack with a mid-90s belt and framesheet (so it has the shoulder bar addition for an even better suspension system). $125 + postage + PayPal fees.-A good friend of mine thought they were doing me a favor by picking this up because it was an older model in such good condition. It's too big for me. I use a medium/medium. Dark blue, but it is faded to look almost exactly like an old denim jean. The fabric is still in solid, durable condition with no fiber deterioration. All stitching and zippers in top condition. Other than the fading and stain, this pack is in top condition. This pack is from just after they stopped using the leather Dana tags and prior to the red/orange fabric tags familiar in the 90s. Made entirely in Montana, USA.

This pack is 6050 cubic inches in volume. I gave the wrong information by originally quoting the size medium volume of 5800 cubic inches.

Wowsers. The only modern internals that could hang would cost four times as much or more.

I would contend this is one of the finest suspension systems made. I have a Terraplane, an Astralplane and have carried in excess of 100 lbs in both, neither were fun, but both carry like a champ. I have never found a pack so easy to fit and so darn comfy to carry. This is a deal, I paid easily double that for mine back in the day when I pro dealed them. Bump it up, if you need help getting it fit or wondering if this will fit, shoot me a message or check this post out, mine is about 6 or 7 down and the next one is from Dana himself, a post which I am rather proud of, his first of 3 posts was a kind set of words. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbth..._Astralplane_Terraplane_Pack#Post2899129

Great Snag. IMHO, one of the best packs ever built. I have taken them all over and packed into some of the roughest country on glaciers and on dirt. I have had my pack for 12 years now, and it still functions very well.

I'm 6'1, 170#, with a long torso so I'm hoping the L will work for me (I think I'm borderline M/L). Now if I could just find a 125 lb blonde to fit in the pack, like Jon, I'd be GOLDEN!! Eric

Just ordered a MR Wolf Pack and I am a hardcore Dana fan, better packs just are not made!

Thanks. I just bought a rifle too, but also sold a surfboard last weekend which generated some extra $$$. They're like currency down here.
