Yep Brent is still going strong out on the Dog Salmon, I know he is full for spring but has a few spaces for fall of '14. He is an archer himself and has guided some serious bowhunters to some nice bears. Lots of good info here, Fall is the best bet for bow so I would recommend that. No matter who you choose, ask them what percent of their hunters are bow hunters and success rates. Go from there! If you decide to go with Brent, ask for Troy Kitchel as your guide, gulf side of the Pen. My $.02. Good luck!

I remember when he killed that bighorn at Canmore, several decades ago. I wasn't on the hunt, but heard it was brutal.

Doing great myfriend I trust you are as well. Heading back up the 27th until the Anchorage show, let's get together and have a beer. I will hit you up, Milo and I are planning on doing the same in the River.

If you decide to go with Brent, ask for Troy Kitchel as your guide, gulf side of the Pen. I booked a sheep hunt in the Talkeetnas with Troy Kitchel. He didn't personnally guide me but had a fellow AAA guide, Shawn Stone, guide me. Both stand up guides.
