Action trued, lugs lapped, good original bluing bolt knob has bluing loss though. No rust or pits. SS Douglas barrel, 10 twist, 24 inch, .660 muzzle. McMillan Super Grade Stock, pillar bed, Williams 670 trigger guard, blind mag. Talley bases. Rifle has been fired once by the smith who built it. JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

I bought a rifle from Nathaniel that was about the same, "safe queen" wise....he's good to go.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.
