Hey fellas. Today I found a Remington (pre lock) ADL in 270 Win. with a 3-10X50 simmons scope. All in all the gun is in pretty good shape. The scope is a little rough but the gun looked really good. He wanted $300 for the gun but you know how that goes. I got him down to $200 for the gun and scope with the Leupold mounts. What do you think about the price. I know that it is pretty good but I don't own another remington. Thanks, Ryan

You got a deal. If you want, it would be a fine action to use to build a custom rifle. Maybe a 9.3 x 62 !

That is WAY TOO MUCH for that gun, he should be paying you to take the scope, and double because it is a stinkin' 270! I am so annoyed that he would charge that much for that gun that I would personally like to give him a piece of my mind. How do I reach him?

Ya'll better quit making fun of me before I cry. HAHA!! I thought that it was a pretty good deal. Any other ideas of what I should rebarrel it to if I deside to. I know that the scope is gonna go. I have no idea of caliber or price, so that is why I am asking. Thanks, Ryan

He can clean the barrel as many times as he wants and it will still just be a 270...

Well I went and picked up the gun today. Two hundred big ones, and the wife didn't even care. That makes 4 guns that I have bought since I got married in December. Gotta love it. Ryan
