I drove from Moorhead to Bloomington today, I-94 was wet and slushy until about Fergus Falls, after that it was a bit wet in the passing lane.

Well it is looking like I'm going to get my snowmobile out of storage and actually use it this weekend. Friends of ours are staying by Pelican lake Saturday, so not sure if we are going to ride around there or by Pinehurst area.
Sounds like Brad and I are going to check out the Sportsman Show at the Fargo Dome on Sunday. That is always fun.

Muffy, Call me a little kid, but I always enjoy the sportsmans shows. It is become more fun now that i can take my kids. They have a blast. Yeah, a lot of it is the same, but we enjoy it. I do get a little bored while the kids fish for-ev-er at the trout pond though!
Yep, gotta run into town and get the snonobeel registered before tomorra.

ND and tzone, you guys are in an almost dead heat on post count considering you are each over 21,000! Lets see, 21,000 times an average of what, 30 seconds per post? That is 10,500 minutes or 175 hours or 7.3 days!

I enjoy the Sportsman show too. Yes it is pretty much the same every year but still fun to walk around. I have a funny story from the Copenhangen/Skoal bass tank at the show. The guy was up there demonstrating and pitching his lures and told a story of a bass tournament they were at. He said it was the strangest/funniest thing he has ever encountered. Seem they were out on a lake fishing a tourney and heard some commotion coming from a pontoon aways off. They looked over and thought something doesn't look right. There were about 10 people on this pontoon and the deck was right at the water. The water started to come over the deck and the voices got louder and more distressed so they decided to head over to see what was going on. When they got closer they could see it was a bunch of japanesse tourists. They were running back and forth, looking over the rails of the pontoon and chattering like crazy in japaneese while the water was flowing over the deck and across thier feet. The guys in the bass boat couldn't figure it out because even though there was quite a few people on board, the pontoon shouldn't be sunk in the water like that. They pulled up next to them and figured out the problem right away. The pontoon was still on the trailer! Apparently they had backed it in, unhooked the hitch from the tow vehicle and took off across the lake!

Sounds like we're all going to need the snow removal equipment. Big storm heading our way tomorrow night. Early estimates are for up to 18" of snow in NW Wisconsin. Northern MN is probably in line for the same.
Here in central WI they're saying 4" to 8" plus freezing rain.

Been a long day studying. Just took another exam. Got 100%. This was one on the sensory abilities of the dog.
It is amazing how much I actually remember from high school as far as the parts of the eye and the structure of the skin which are similar in dogs and humans. It is going really well.
