The 6th graders get to make the haunted house for the Halloween carnival. This year it was a bust! The only time I get to do it gets messed up.
The idea was to cover the inside of the house with black paper then put dots on the paper. When we turned the lights off and turned the black lights in there was a bunch of glowing dots everywhere. Then MissTreated made black costumes and covered them with dots. When we put the costumes on you were supposed to blend in with the background and you wern't supposed to see the people in the costumes.
Well when they opened up the house for people to come in. Everyone could see us and it was a failure. I quit helping them but a couple of my friends staid and helped. The guests started punching, kicking, poking and wacking the healpers. Someone broke a light over my friend James and also pushed him into another light which also broke. My other friend John was poked, proaded, grabed and wacked a lot also. They had to end it earley because of all the fights and the broken glass on the floor.

The best part of the day was I got to go to the Fright Night Haunted House, it was the most talked about, and said to be the scariest haunted house in Anchorage. It was really, really fun. It wasn't very scary but it was cool.

It was a pretty good day because of the Fright Night Haunted House. I am glad I got to go.

I think you would have had more fun if you wore that cute little Puffin outfit. I am sure the girls would have loved it.

Enjoy the weekend.

Haunting houses is an art, AK, that you can practice and perfect over your whole life. It is not a static art, but a performance art where you have to adapt to fit the audience of the moment. What is lame for teenagers can scare little kids so much you will feel bad about it. If you like haunting, you can do it every halloween for years and years, trying out new ideas and getting ever better.

The Dr. J costume came out great!

For the haunted house a parent came out and said that we should not have our arms out because we might grab girls. As it turned out the visiters should have had their arms inside thier costumes.

Don't sweat it, sweet thing, you are still cute as a duck's butt!

I love the pic of you in that puffin costume. Priceless, absolutely priceless !!! Although, the Steller's Jay is my favorite !

Just go fish'in....that is what I am gonna do....and I had a HORRID day!

One week, and you won't even remember this day . So, chin up....there are fish in the river....

I think she is sweet on you Riley. Though the "duck butt" comment has me a bit concerned........

I wonder what kind of butt I remind her of????

You are more like a horse's arse !!!

Although, come to think of it, do you own a puffin costume? Nevermind, I don't want to know what you are wearing right now !

Another one I found is a strobe light then have a haunted house person walk toward the people who intruded in your haunted house. It looks really cool!
