I was trying to see what hops they use specifically. Guess they have this new site launch thing and I couldn't find the particulars.

To find an over the top "Hoppy" ale you need to go all the way to the east coast and try Hoppyum Ale. ( Foothills Brewing in N.C. ) As one would have it it would seem bitter but it actually isn't. Smooth, great flavor. Only 6% + gravity though.

Tis a shame these micro breweries take the easy way out and brew mostly Ale's

REAL elk hunters drink lattes...White Chocolate Mocha, with a shot of Raspberry....

You know why that call it a latte? Cause it takes a latte time to make and it costs a latte money

Yeah...well, the raspberry shot makes it pink and those of us secure in our masculinity can drink a pink drink whilst hunting elk...though it does cost a latte money

hehe ... ladies. I once knew of a guide who had to separate his father/son hunters on a hunt. It was the fathers Idea as he self admittedly was not in shape to carry on and urged his son to chase the bull. A fire was set and location of such father was committed to map.

Returning to camp the father continued to pizz and moan that he was left for 4 hours and nightfall had set.

After 30 min. of the father drinking his whine. Said guide had enough and boldly mentioned to the father in the dinning tent that this was an Elk hunt not a Tupperware party...

now where'd I set down my double mocha caramel soy latte...

Whiskey when hunting them, wine when eating them.

I guess that proves that I'm not a REAL elk hunter.

But then what are all of those little white packages in my freezers, and how did they get there???

Greenhorn, to answer your question. I drank 2 growlers of Great Northern's old DoppleBock back to back at winter carnival. They had a contest to see who could drink the most of it before you had to piss.

The beer was free and it was Winter Carnival...

Ok, so in two sittings I couldn't even get one half of one growler of Bozone hopzone down.

Whiskey, elk and hoppy beer, very nice.....

I'm Irish... Let me smoke a pinner first and I'll down two growlers and piss on your boots before I get my ass kicked. Then I'll wake up in bed with your sister the next morning and the whole thing will be akward. Until you make me breakfast and a bloody mary, and we talk about fly fishing. Then we will have that bond that only real men share...

And the sheep will be nervous if we ever go antelope hunting in Montucky
