When it comes to choosing friends....I'm at an age where I'd rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

The lowest I've seen lately was 2.45/ gallon. Many are in the 2.50-2.60 range for self-serve regular.

$2.36/gallon for 85.5 octane here. It had topped out around $2.90. Diesel is still over $3.00/gal.

$3.09 at the Safeway, less my $0.06 discount every time I buy more than $50 worth of groceries -- which is every time I think about groceries, or look at the store as I drive by .
Russ -- how you doing? We thought about you Saturday before last, going out to the Palmer Gun Show in the Extrusion. I bought an outboard motor and a 1908 Mannlicher-Schoenauer Carbine. Lady at the Alaska Airlines ticket counter the next morning never turned a hair... .
